Cookie Policy
This site uses the smallest number of cookies it can. This page lists every one of them and what it does.
Last updated: 2 November 2026
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site recognise your browser between page loads — which is how a basket keeps its contents when you move from a product page to the checkout. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage; where they apply, this policy covers them too.
2. Cookies this website sets
| Name | Purpose | Type | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Identifies your browsing session so the site can remember your basket contents, your favourites and any order you place during the visit. Without it the basket cannot work. | Strictly necessary — first party | End of browsing session |
That is the complete list. This website sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies. We do not run advertising pixels, we do not embed social media trackers, and we do not share browsing behaviour with anyone.
3. Why we do not ask for consent to it
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), consent is required for cookies except those that are strictly necessary for a service the user has explicitly requested. A session cookie that makes a shopping basket function falls within that exemption, which is why this site does not show a consent banner. If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first, through a banner that lets you refuse as easily as accept, and we will update this page before doing so.
4. Third-party content
This website loads a web font stylesheet from Google Fonts so that pages render in the intended typefaces. Requesting that stylesheet discloses your IP address and browser information to Google as the host of the file. Google Fonts does not set cookies for this purpose. If you would rather it did not load, most browsers and content-blocking extensions allow you to block requests to that host; the site remains fully usable with a fallback typeface.
Beyond that, this website embeds no third-party scripts, no video players, no maps, no chat widgets and no social media buttons.
5. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent the basket, favourites and checkout from working on this site, but you can still browse the range and contact us.
- Chrome — Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies / Site data.
- Firefox — Settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari — Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data.
- Edge — Settings, Cookies and site permissions.
Most browsers also offer a private or incognito mode, which discards all cookies when the window is closed.
6. Do Not Track
Because we do not track visitors across sites, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We honour them by default in the simplest possible way: we never collect that data in the first place.
7. More information
How we handle personal data generally is set out in our Privacy Policy. If you have a question about cookies on this site, email [email protected]. You can also read the Information Commissioner's Office guidance on cookies at ico.org.uk.
