The Large is a 26 litre bag for students carrying a laptop, several A4 folders and often a change of clothes. It is the biggest LitePak, and the only one with a hip belt.
A 4 cm padded hip belt transfers roughly a third of the load off the shoulders onto the pelvis, which is the difference between a comfortable and an uncomfortable bag once you pass about 6 kg. The laptop sleeve takes a 15.6-inch machine and closes with its own buckle. There is a full-width front organiser, a fleece-lined pocket at the top for glasses or a phone, and a hidden back pocket against the panel for a wallet or travel card.

If any of those numbers do not match what you need, tell us what you are carrying and we will point you at a different model rather than sell you the wrong one.

How to read these numbers
Capacity is the usable volume of the packed bag, measured with the compartments closed. Dimensions are external, so allow roughly 2 cm on each figure for the internal space.
Empty weight matters more than most people expect: a bag that starts 300 grams heavier is 300 grams the child carries every day before a single book goes in.
Designed for is a guide, not a rule. Children of the same age vary by 20 cm in height. If in doubt, measure the back length as described in our back care guide.
Looking after it
Empty the bag completely, shake it out and sponge the outer fabric with warm water and a little non-biological detergent. Do not use bleach, solvent or a washing machine unless the model is listed as machine washable. Dry it away from direct heat with the compartments open.

Warranty: 3 years
Covers manufacturing and material faults from the date of delivery: seam and stitching failure, zip and buckle failure, and delamination of coated fabrics. It does not cover accidental damage, deliberate damage or normal wear.

Delivery
Orders placed before 13:00 on a working day are packed and dispatched the same day from our unit in Chertsey. Standard UK delivery is 2–4 working days and costs £4.95, or nothing at all on orders over £75.00. Express delivery is 1–2 working days at £8.95.

Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to tell us you are cancelling, and a further 14 days to send the bag back, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We extend that to 30 days for unused items in their original condition.
Personalised bags cannot be returned under the cancellation right unless they are faulty, because they are made to your specification. Please check spelling carefully before ordering.
